Known for hits like "Castigada" in collaboration with Young Miko and Cory, and "Acompáñame" in collaboration with Guaynaa and Yandel, Catalyna presents "Fili", a song that talks about the depression people experience when they leave or end a relationship unexpectedly and how easy it is to fall into "the dark side" when they feel there is no way out of the pain.
The song was written by Catalyna herself and produced by Adrian Veguilla "Sour", Luis Alejandro Colmenares, and Paulo Jose Simoes, and is described as a non-urban song, with a melody belonging to the alternative genre with a fusion of sounds from soul and R&B.
The music video for "Fili" was filmed in Orlando and features Catalyna in different life situations battling depression. The video was produced by Sony Boiz and is available on all digital platforms.
"I am very excited about this song, it is a different musical proposal, sounds that I have worked with and feel very comfortable with, but that the public does not expect. I am anxious for them to hear it," said Catalyna.
