Deejay Krueshef Releases Latest Song "You Born With Greatness"

While he enjoys a comfortable life in California, Krueshef never forgets his youth in St. Croix when there were many economic challenges. The deejay recalls those years in You Born With Greatness, his latest song.

Released in late May by KMGM Records, the song encourages persons in similar positions to achieve.

“My hopes for You Born With Greatness is to engage and touch every youth, man or woman, and show dem that being born into poverty or rich, you can achieve anything. And by just tapping into their own greatness and light from within, Holy Immanuel’s light will shine through,” he said.

You Born With Greatness is driven by the dancehall sound Krueshef has loved since his early years in St. Croix, one of the territories that comprise the United States Virgin Islands. Its message of empowerment, however, is what sets it apart from his earlier songs.

“This song is different because it actually describes my life, growing up, what I have done, been through, and still didn't quit. It's a true story about who I am,” he explained.

Krueshef started his music career as Splittt Personality, who recorded one album (Introspective) under that name. But it was not all music. As a boxer, he represented the United States as a super-middleweight at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.

You Born With Greatness kicks off his 2024 campaign. His previous song, RE-Vibes, was released last December.
