GEORGETOWN, Guyana – The region’s Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) negotiators Friday said the new international treaty for the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction opens a new chapter for equity in the world’s ocean.
