Mayor Levine Cava Endorsed for Re-Election by Builders Association of South Florida’s Political Arm

Miami-Dade, Florida – Today, the Builders Association of South Florida’s (BASF) and its political arm, BIPAC, proudly announced its endorsement of Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava in her re-election campaign. This endorsement highlights Mayor Levine Cava's commitment to meeting the needs of our growing population through responsible development, job creation, and collaborative policy-making.

With a focus on creating economic opportunity for all and tackling the affordability crisis, Mayor Daniella has cut property tax rates for two consecutive years, bringing them to their lowest rates in forty years, and is investing in affordable housing solutions with 32,000 new units being built. Through the Innovation Authority, an initiative that provides grants to companies tackling challenges in climate, health, transit, and more, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava's administration is making it faster and easier to innovate in Miami-Dade County. This effort positions the county as a world-class destination for high-growth companies while addressing critical community issues.

Under Mayor Levine Cava’s leadership, Miami-Dade County has seen remarkable economic recovery and growth. Her administration's efforts have attracted major investments, business relocations, and the creation of new economy jobs, making Miami-Dade one of the most recovered economies in the nation. She has allocated funds to strengthen homes against severe weather, provided relief for mortgages, utilities, and condo special assessments, and earned the county a new FEMA discount by addressing flooding risks – resulting in greatly reduced flood insurance premiums for residents in unincorporated Miami-Dade. Additionally, her administration has led the effort to install energy-efficient air conditioning units in all public housing, ensuring that all residents can live in healthy and safe environments.
