Minor Earthquake Felt in Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – A minor earthquake was felt in sections of the Corporate Area  and the central parish of St Catherine on Sunday.

EARTHsAccording to the Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus,  the 3.4 magnitude quake was felt about 2:59 pm (local time).

The epicentre was located approximately 7km northwest of Trinityville in the eastern parish of St Thomas.

It had a focal depth of 6.9 km.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries
