Grenadian-born Dr. Roy A. Hastick, president, chief executive officer and founder of the Brooklyn-based Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), died in New York after complications related to the novel coronavirus. He was 69.
Jamaican E. Leopold Edwards, recognized as a towering figure in the Caribbean American community in the U.S. for more than seven decades, died at his home in Maryland. He was 95.
