Japan and CARPHA Sign Agreement to Achieve CHRS

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – The Trinidad-based Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) said it has signed an agreement with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to achieve Caribbean Regional Health Security (CHRS).

JASL Commemorates 30th Anniversary With Packed Schedule of Activties

Kingston, Jamaica – Jamaica AIDS Support for Life (JASL), in observation of its 30th anniversary, has a packed schedule of activities slated to run from November 1 to December 10, 2021. The organization which opened its doors in November 1991, remains Jamaica’s largest and longest-serving institution which focuses on Human Immuno-Deficiency Virus (HIV) and human rights.

Health Authorities in Trinidad Say All ICU Beds Are Occupied

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Health officials Monday blamed unvaccinated coronavirus (COVID-19) patients for the situation where all beds within the Intensive Care Units (ICU) of the various hospitals being occupied, reiterating the call for people to get vaccinated against the virus that has so far killed 1, 645 and infected 55, 681 others since March last year.
