The sentencing occurred in a Miami courtroom earlier this week, with United States District Judge Kathleen Williams overseeing the proceedings.

Maynard told a Miami court she helped the convicted former Premier orchestrate a Hollywood-style drug and money laundering conspiracy to smuggle thousands of kilos of cocaine through the territory’s waters and to hide the proceeds coming from their efforts.

Judge Williams selected a sentence that was lower than the recommended range of 11 years and three months to 14 years.

Maynard’s son, Kadeem Maynard, received a 57-month sentence in November 2023, however, Fahie has not yet been sentenced and is scheduled for a court date on August 5, 2024.
