Post-Mortem Leads Investigators to Believe That Dancehall Artist “Medikk” Died From Bullet Wounds

KINGSTON, Jamaica – A post-mortem that was carried out on the remains of dancehall artiste ‘Medikk’, whose real name is Stephanie Williams, has led investigators to believe that she died from bullet wounds.

Skeletal remains, suspected to be those of Medikk, were found  earlier this year, on February 14 in a cane field in the central parish of St. Catherine.

Williams went missing on August 24 last year and when skeletal remains were discovered, DNA analysis revealed that the bones belonged to Williams. 

The matter has since been upgraded to a case of murder.

In addition to her musical career, Medikk owned a manufacturing and distribution company called Rheborn Holistic, that made natural, personal care and skin care items.
