Bipartisan Coalition of 40 US Mayors Renew Call For Work Authorization For Immigrants

NEW YORK, New York – New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson have led a coalition of 40 Cities for Action (C4A) mayors and county executives in calling for over two million work authorizations for both recent arrivals and longstanding undocumented immigrants in the absence of what they describe as “long-awaited” comprehensive reform by Congress.
