UNITED NATIONS – The Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed has praised the resilience of the people of Haiti, stating that relief teams are “working day and night”, in the aftermath of last week’s massive earthquake and subsequent tropical storm.

Haiti Declares Three Days of National Mourning

PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti – Haiti Tuesday declared three days of notional mourning in memory of the victims of the powerful earthquake last Saturday that has killed more than 1, 400 and injured more than 6,000 with several others reported missing.
