Kristen Hamilton Voted NWSL Player of the Week

CHICAGO – Kristen Hamilton has been voted NWSL Player of the Week for Week 8 of the 2019 season by the NWSL Media Association.  Hamilton scored in the 59th, 66th and 85th minute, seeing action in all 90 minutes for the first time this season.  The goals also marked her first of the season, and a career-first hat trick, ending a four-game winless streak for the Courage.

KristenWhile Hamilton’s first goal was unassisted, the second goal was assisted by Leah Pruitt, and the third goal was assisted by Jaelene Hinkle.

The North Carolina Courage return to action and to the newly re-sodded Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, June 15 at 7:45 p.m. The match is part of a North Carolina Football Club Doubleheader where North Carolina FC will play the Swope Park Rangers at 5:00 p.m. preceding the Courage match.
