OTTAWA - Ottawa’s one and only professional soccer club, entering its sixth season, is geared up and ready for an exciting 2019 USL Championship season. Fury FC will kick off the season on the road in Charleston this Saturday, March 9 (7:30 p.m.) and return to TD Place for this year’s home opener on Saturday, April 6 against Nashville SC (2 p.m.).
While Head Coach Nikola Popovic has been diligently working on an entertaining style of soccer with his new crop of players that will undoubtedly delight footy fans across the region, fans of all ages can also expect a revamped match day experience this season at TD Place.
Family Fundays
Soccer in Ottawa has always been recognized for its family-friendly atmosphere and great afternoon entertainment. This year will be no different, with all nine weekend afternoon games offering a great, affordable family outing option.
In addition to the return of the Fan First Fare menu at all our TD Place concessions, offering reduced pricing on some of our most popular food items, families can also take advantage of different ticket offers featuring added value in the form of a snack or merchandise item.
And to make sure the whole family is enjoying the day out, specialty programming will be presented before and at halftime of each of the games. Fans can look forward to performances by School of Rock, Ottawa Circus School and Flava Factory, who will open the festivities on April 6.
Patio Party Evenings
Ottawa is also a great city to be out and about in during the summer evenings, and Fury FC wants to slide in your summer plans. That’s why the four weekend evening games (Friday/Saturday 7 p.m. kickoff) will feature the best patio party in town!
Fury FC is throwing a backyard patio party where fans get to enjoy cold refreshments and delicious food with a side of footy. For as low as $25, fans receive a ticket to a great soccer game under the lights as well their first beverage on us. Cheers to that!
