The wait is officially over! The world's first and only Swim-up Rondoval™Suites are officially open at Sandals South Coast, and welcomed its first guests on December 10, 2020.
Coral Status Sandals Select Rewards Members, Michael & Lorie Gillespie, are the first to stay in the new Swim-up Rondoval™ Suites at Sandals South CoastAnnounced earlier this year in September 2020, the addition of the world's first-ever Swim-up Rondoval Suites, positioned on a 17,040 sq. ft. pool oasis, were designed to be a luxurious haven tucked away from the world's path. The 20 Swim-up Rondoval Suites measure an impressive 22 feet in diameter with 20-foot conical ceilings. Bringing guests closer to the water than ever before, the suites in the round feature private plunge pools ornamented with Italian glass-clad fountains and Indonesian limestone.
Hallmarks of the innovation include access to a zero-entry 17,040 sq. ft. pool, the longest pool in the Western Hemisphere, a scalloped Tranquility Soaking Tub™ for two and a cozy indoor wicker swing with scenic outdoor views. Furnishings are custom-made from across the globe, bathrooms boast a suspended stone vanity with a Hollywood lit mirror, and outdoors, contemporary lounge furnishings complete the private coral sundeck. Crafted with romance, tranquility, and privacy in mind - the Rondoval Village features signature suites that take inspiration from the ocean’s endless nature. 
Guests can also revel in a completely reimagined 112-room Dutch Village, which now offer direct access to two new expansive swim-up pools. These luxurious suites are a nod to the water's natural beauty with a light blue and neutral color scheme throughout. The 112-room village – comprised of 16 Butler Elite suites and 96 Club and Luxury Level rooms include indoor free-standing tubs and showers, outdoor Tranquility Soaking Tubs™ for two, and swim-up access from a private pool for select room categories.
These enhancements join Sandals South Coast's cutting-edge architectural design features, including the lavish Over-the-Water Bungalows, a first in the Caribbean, an Over-the-Water Serenity Wedding Chapel, and an overwater bar offering 360-degree views of the ocean.
