KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica’s Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett is on a visit to three Latin American countries for a week-long visit aimed at increasing tourist arrivals from the region.

CASTRIES, SAINT LUCIA – Highlighting Saint Lucia’s commitment to strengthening the tourism sector for both sellers and buyers, the 2023 Showcase North America conference was hosted at Sandals Grands St. Lucian from July 6-10. BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – In an effort to increase regional travel to the Island, the government has reduced the airport service charge from $35 United States dollars to $20 United States dollars, a statement from the Government Information Service here said.

WestJet Airlines today announced a brand new scheduled non-stop flight from Toronto to Bonaire, in collaboration with Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Bonaire Flamingo International Airport (BON) and Tourism Corporation Bonaire. Marking a milestone as the carrier’s first ever flight to the island, the non-stop route will operate once weekly, every Tuesday. Service begins on December 12th, 2023, and will run through mid-April 2024.

TORTOLA, British Virgin Islands – The Department of Immigration says it has ramped up its operations at the Terrance B Lettsome International Airport in an effort to facilitate the increase in the number of travelers.

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad – Trinidad-based Caribbean Airlines is scheduled to begin flights in three Caribbean Countries later this month while increasing the number of flights in two other countries.
