PARAMARIBO, Suriname – Surinam Airways (SLM) has announced plans to re-introduce flights to Trinidad and Tobago more than six months after it said it had been forced to suspend its services on May 23 last year after nearly three decades of operations into Port-of-Spain.

This week, JetBlue announced the addition of nonstop, once-daily seasonal flights from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to Bermuda (BDA). All new JetBlue routes will go on sale in January 2023. Additionally, United Airlines’ service from Newark to Bermuda will start in March 2023, six weeks earlier than anticipated.

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett, says the 2022/2023 winter tourist season promises to be “a very strong winter of recovery” with some 1.3 million airline seats to the island already secured.

Speaking on Bloomberg TV on Friday, Jamaica’s Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett said the country’s post-pandemic recovery was so strong that stayover arrivals were at 97 percent of 2019 levels while revenues were even higher at 120 percent of 2019 earnings.
