City of Opa-locka Hosts Public Dedication and Codesignation Ceremony for Commissioner Barbara Jordan Way

OPA-LOCKA, Fl. —  Over one hundred public officials, community based organizations, and district one residents gathered to join Miami-Dade County Commission Vice Chairman Oliver G. Gilbert, III, City of Opa-locka Mayor Matthew Pigatt, Commissioner Joseph L. Kelley, Vice-Mayor Veronica Williams, and the City of Opa-locka City Commission for the Public Dedication and Codesignation Ceremony for Commissioner Barbara Jordan Way on March 24.

CHTA Launches “Forward Together” Initiative to Encourage Support of Association

MIAMI, Florida,  — As the Caribbean tourism and hospitality industry continues to respond and adapt to challenges arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), the region’s leading association representing the interests of the private sector, has launched Forward Together, an initiative which encourages industry stakeholders to join their colleagues in supporting the trade association.
