Sandals Resorts International Announces Expansion to a New Destination, The Island of St. Vincent

MONTEGO BAY,JAMAICA,– Luxury all-inclusive resort leader Sandals Resorts International (SRI) is expanding to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, its eighth island in the Caribbean, and a new destination for the brand, following the acquisition of Buccament Bay Spa and Resort. The resort, which has been shuttered as a failed development since 2016, will be completely transformed to become the fourth Beaches Resorts within the portfolio, joining their award-winning family-friendly resorts in Jamaica and Turks & Caicos.

Kingston, Jamaica | : The World-Famous Dunn’s River Falls & Park along with Green Grotto Caves & Attractions have reopened to the public from Tuesday 21st July 2020. Caribbean Airlines Expands in The Eastern Caribbean

Port-of-Spain. Subject to regulatory approvals Caribbean Airlines will launch service to the Eastern Caribbean from Barbados effective July 22, 2020. Flights will initially operate between Barbados to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada with other destinations to be added once the regulatory approvals are received.

Jamaica Continues to Welcome Visitors as It Extends Phase I of Reopening Through July

KINGSTON, JAMAICA – Jamaica has announced revised measures for international travelers visiting the island as of July 15. All visitors will still be required to complete an online Travel Authorization. Travelers from Arizona, Florida, New York, and Texas (areas declared by the Ministry of Health and Wellness as high risk at this time), will be required to upload negative COVID-19 PCR test results. Tests should be no more than ten (10) days old measured from the day the sample was taken to the day of arrival in Jamaica.

Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation Statement on Border Closure to The United States Due to COVID-19

NASSAU, Bahamas,  – Due to the continued increase in COVID-19 cases in the United States, as well as an uptick in cases in The Bahamas, Prime Minister, The Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis, has made the difficult decision to close borders to international commercial flights and commercial vessels carrying passengers from the United States. The order is effective as of Wednesday, July 22 at midnight. In addition, Bahamasair will cease outgoing flights to the United States, effective immediately.
