BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The COVID-19 Hotline, established in partnership between Broward County and the Florida Department of Health in Broward on March 21, will change its hours of operations to mirror the Call Center for the Florida Department of Health in Broward County, effective Tuesday, April 7.

Miami, Florida- Community Health of South Florida, Inc. (CHI) will hold a news conference on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 10am at Loren Roberts Park, 627 NW 6th Ave., Florida City, Florida to announce the first drive through Coronavirus (COVID-19) testing to come to both Florida City and Homestead. CHI will be providing drive-through COVID-19 testing at Loren Roberts Park in Florida City on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 1pm. In addition, starting Monday April13th CHI will conduct drive through COVID-19 testing at its Martin Luther King Jr. /Clinica Campesina Health Center, 810 W. Mowry Dr. in Homestead on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am to 1pm. Plus, April 8th from 9am to noon will be the last day for COVID19 testing at the Doris Ison Health Center 10300 SW 216 St. Miami FL 33190. CHI is scaling back its Doris Ison COVID19 operation due to the new testing location down the street at the South Dade Government Center.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Broward County Transit (BCT) rolled out five new motor coach buses this morning to transport 75 Express Bus Service customers. BCT offers the 75 Express Bus Service in partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation.

Mr. Raine said the Bahamas recovery will take a long time, requiring continued shipments of aid to help families rebuild their lives and their homes after Hurricane Dorian slammed the islands in September last year. The FFP charity already has shipped more than 30 tractor-trailer loads.  The donation represents contributions from recent fundraising efforts across the South Florida community, hosted by Diaspora groups and churches including the Jamaica Ex-Police Association, the Living Word International Christian Ministries in Coral Springs and the Vision Ministries International also in Coral Springs.

Buses will depart from the BB&T Park and Ride in Plantation and travel to Miami Airport Station with a stop at Miami Gardens Drive Park and Ride.
