Miramar Residents Enjoy Fun in the Sun at World's Largest Swimming Lesson

The City of Miramar successfully hosted the World's Largest Swimming Lesson on June 20th at the Miramar Aquatic Complex and the Miramar Regional Park Aquatic Complex. Combined, over 71 children participated at both locations. The event was a fun way to make the community aware of the importance of swim lessons and the existence of our Aquatic Facilities.

Chairwoman Edmonson Celebrates Liberty City Rising Phase 1 Grand Opening

Edmonson celebrated the transformation of the Liberty Square housing project along with U.S. Housing Secretary Ben Carson, Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez, and a host of local, state and federal officials and residents.
