Celebrating the Windrush Generation

A fitting tribute to Caribbean people who helped rebuild Britain, the Inaugural Windrush Caribbean Film Festival — from 17 October-8 November 2020 —is a celebration of a generation. As British subjects from the commonwealth, they came between 1948 and 1973 answering the call to help reconstruct a wounded country after World War 2.

Inaugural National Jamaican Jerk Day a Success!

Highlights of performances by reggae icons John Holt and Barrington Levy and soca queen Alison Hinds on the South Florida stage; Chris Martin and Romain Virgo on the New York stage and “King of the Dancehall” Beenie Man on the Toronto stage showcased the caliber of entertainment these festivals are known for.
