Kingston, JA, Dancehall Divas, the world’s first dancehall lifestyle reality show will premiere on the CVM TV Network on Saturday, September 19th. The six part reality series will take Jamaican viewers on a dramatic journey into the lives of six women who are part of the popular international dancehall lifestyle subculture.  

The Heritage Project: An Online Artistic Salon Series

Miami, FL – The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County (@arshtcenter) proudly announces the launch of a new six-part monthly panel series, THE HERITAGE PROJECT: AN ONLINE ARTISTIC SALON SERIES. Each month, local community leaders and cultural experts from across South Florida will gather virtually to discuss the history of social justice, activism, and influence of Black art on mainstream American culture. The free series kicks off on September 30, 2020 with “SONGS OF FREEDOM,” an exploration of the role of music in the movement for social justice. THE HERITAGE PROJECT will run monthly through February 2021, culminating with the second annual HERITAGE FESTIVAL on the Arsht Center’s Thomson Plaza for the Arts. 

African Heritage Cultural Arts Center Celebrates The Roots Of Tap Dance With "Revelations In Rhythm" – A Free Virtual Concert

MIAMI  —The African Heritage Cultural Art Center and its dance company, Winds of Heritage Dance Company, celebrate the roots of tap dance with “Revelations in Rhythm,” a virtual tap dance concert featuring Miami’s own Marshall Davis, Jr. and world-renowned tap dancer and choreographer Savion Glover. The live concert will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 7 p.m. online. Viewing is free and can be seen on the Facebook Live page.

PARAMARIBO, Suriname – Surinamese singer Agnes Agie, whose tune “Faluma" was made popular by Barbadian soca star Allison Hinds, died last month at age 57.

Nicki is ‘Preggers’
