Chief Sandrell Rivers Day to be Celebrated Virtually

MIAMI, Florida— Fantasy Theatre Factoryat the Sandrell Rivers Theater (FTF@SRT) will host its 3rd annual Sandrell Rivers Day with an impressivelineup of artists and entertainers of color,starting at 8 p.m. on Sat., August 29, 2020, on Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/SandrellRiversTheater) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6dBLv9GNfiBu9w2O3_UzrA/).Among the festivities will be the bestowing of this year’s Sandrell Rivers Humanitarian Award to Dr. Larry R. Handfield, Esq., of The Handfield Firm. Serving as Emcee will be renown singer and entertainer Brenda Alford. The event will be free.

2020 Jamaica Gospel Song Grand Final Premiering This Sunday on CVM

The Grand Final of the 2020 Jamaica Gospel Song Competition will premiere on CVM TV this Sunday, July 26, beginning at 5:30 pm. The Finalists’ Performance Show, which is the first show of the two-show  Grand Final, will see the top ten finalist trying to out sing and out-perform each other as they vie to capture the public’s heart and vote.

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Dr. L’Antoinette Stines, founder and lead choreographer of Jamaican dance group L’Acadco, has filed a lawsuit against American music superstars Jay Z and Beyonce for her work on their 2018 album “Everything is Love”.
