Tallahassee, Fla. – The Florida Democratic Party is hosting a busy weekend of events with volunteers across Florida. The party will be hosting online trainings and digital phone banks this weekend with a strong focus on assisting Floridians to fill out a vote by mail request.

There is an important distinction I like to make about Memorial Day.

WASHINGTON - House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy today announced the addition of 17 candidates to the committee’s 2020 Young Guns program, and the promotion of 14 to the Contender level. The program mentors and supports candidates in races across the country and works to provide them with the necessary tools to run successful, winning campaigns against their Democratic opponents.

Washington, D.C. – After the chaos and confusion surrounding the Wisconsin primary, an analysis from the Center for American Progress finds that 40 states plus the District of Columbia have election systems that are not much better or are even worse positioned than Wisconsin when it comes to responding to a pandemic.

MIAMI-DADE – In an effort to assist South Dade’s farmers that are taking a big financial hit from the COVID-19 pandemic, and to give the South Florida agricultural industry a much needed boost, County Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava is calling for comprehensive farm aid.
